The news that the hit HBO show “Entourage” would be turned into a movie got fans excited all over again after its series finale last year. Producer Mark Wahlberg is finally giving a general idea of the upcoming film’s plot.
“I always just wanted to get back to where it was just about the guys. We had a lot of strong female characters, and I love all those characters, but it really was always about the guys,” Wahlberg offered.
“Entourage” was definitely a show everyone wanted to see as a film, including the cast and crew. “‘We always felt like it was a movie, but we had to just make these 30-minute episodes. That was one of the frustrating things. ‘It always felt like we left the audience wanting more, which is a good thing in doing television. I think its story and its characters were a world people really missed and really enjoyed,” Mark went on to say.
Now that they’ve worked out everyone’s hectic schedules, Vince, Turtle, Drama, E, and Ari are slated to reunite for shooting of the film as early as May so the film can be released in the spring of 2014.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I, for one, am so hyped about this film. Probably one of my all-time favorite shows. What do you think will happen in the movie?
