The Great Weave Debate

Do men prefer women with weaves, false lashes, nails, breasts and booties to women who rock it the way God made it? In the March issue of Essence Magazine, Brooklyn rapper Sha Stimuli says a man is more likely to commit to a woman who is confident with herself just the way God made her than one who can’t be seen without some “assistance”. He says weaves, lashes, nails, etc are fine as long as they’re accessories and not necessary for her to feel beautiful. Nowadays the trend is to restructure yourself from head to toe: from Botox injections in foreheads, cheeks and lips to breast implants, tummy tucks, liposuction, butt implants and more. Watch any of the housewives shows and it’s an augmentation festival, and not a very good one. It’s amazing to me that these women look in the mirror and are unhappy with themselves so they get plastic surgery that looks horrible, in my opinion, and that makes them look better? Are women changing themselves because they don’t like the way they look naturally or are they doing it to be more attractive or desirable to men? And what men think about all the fake stuff?
