Former Obama Aide Van Jones Spearheading New Political Movement

Former Obama Green Energy Czar and progressive political activist Van Jones is starting his own movement.

Riding the wave of the Occupy movement, Jones’ the American Dream Movement, a coalition of hundreds of progressive organizations, formed to become what Jones describes as the open-source brand of the Tea Party.

Naturally, Republicans are taking aim again: It’s “the same Marxist foolishness that he’s been preaching,” says one GOP spokesman. “He’s on the wrong side of history here.”
